Mercy Hospital’s 4th floor is home to the 4A Transitional Care Unit along with the 4M Med/Surg Telemetry Unit. 4A is a 12-bed unit that consists of patients who are transitioning from acute care to home or another care setting and patients who no longer require the intensity of acute hospital care but still need specialized medical, nursing or other care before discharge. 4M, on the other hand, is a 28-bed acute medical/telemetry unit that also cares for patients in an observation status. This unit is typically fast-paced and allows our caregivers to assess, diagnose and treat medical concerns with non-invasive methods.
As a Nurse Manager, you will manage the delivery of care within the 4A and 4M units at Mercy Hospital. In this role, you will provide diagnostic or therapeutic services to patients while offering clinical supervision, maintaining quality outcomes and supervising all aspects of personnel management and development. Ultimately, your dedication and leadership help enhance the Cleveland Clinic experience for everyone, whether they are patients, visitors or fellow caregivers.
