The competent Nurse practices independently and demonstrates an awareness of all relevant aspects of a situation. Provides routine and complex care. Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers.
Responsibilities include providing nursing care utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation), administering medications and treatments, documenting patient history and care, and providing education to patients and families. Requirements include Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred, 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred, BLS required, and RN License in state of employment or compact. Work schedule is 5 Days - 8 Hours, Full Time.
