Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive LDRP nursing care across triage, labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care
  • Monitor fetal status and participate in obstetric interventions; assist circulating for C-sections
  • Perform sterile vaginal exams, IV starts, and obstetric triage activities
  • Manage postpartum hemorrhage, including use of the JADA device
  • Document care in Epic; coordinate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, Respiratory, Interpretation, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response)

Requirements

  • Active RN license in a compact state with license in hand at submission

Certifications

BLS, NRP; CLC and STABLE

Experience

minimum 3 years in LDRP; travel experience required

  • References: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
  • Ability to work in a small obstetric unit and to float to nearby facilities as needed
  • Scheduling flexibility to work nights and the assigned 3x12 shift
