Schedule

  • 12-hour shifts, 3 days/week
  • Night shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

Responsibilities

*

  • Provide advanced life support care in 911, pre-hospital, and transport settings (ground and/or air)
  • Assess, treat, and stabilize patients with medical and traumatic emergencies
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, intubation, defibrillation, and ACLS interventions
  • Treat life-threatening conditions including arrhythmias, respiratory distress, shock, and trauma
  • Monitor, document, and communicate patient status to physicians and command centers
  • Safely transport patients while maintaining emergency vehicle standards
  • Maintain equipment, vehicles, and documentation in compliance with protocols

  • Virginia Paramedic certification required
  • AHA BLS (HCP), ACLS, and EVOC required
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
