About this role
Position Summary
Summary
The Bed Coordinator facilitates processes on a daily basis to expedite patient’s movement within the organization. Adheres to patient centered care principles in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams; DONs, ANSs, NMs, Admitting office, Case Management and Social Work. Coordinates, prioritizes and optimizes patient flow activities. Qualifications
Responsibilities
Education Required
- Must complete in-house orientation program
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse diploma or college program.
- BSN preferred.
Experience And Skills
- Speaks, reads and writes English
- 2-3 years hospital nursing experience, including medical surgical.
- Good oral and written communications skills
License/Certifications
- Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Professional Nurse in New York State.
