Education and

Experience

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing required (in progress acceptable). Minimum one year of nursing experience required. Minimum one year of oncology nursing preferred. One year case management or transitional care management experience preferred.

Knowledge and

Skills

Demonstrates proficient competencies in clinical oncology/hematology nursing. Ability to apply theoretical concepts to clinical practice and continually expands knowledge base and clinical skills with a focus in oncology/hematology treatment modalities. Basic knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation required.

Licensures and

Certifications

Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association required. Oncology Certification Nurse (OCN) preferred.
