The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a contracted, school-based placement in Lexington, KY for the 26/27 school year ! This is a full-time position supporting a local K-12 district with private duty/1:1 nursing services.
Working with The Stepping Stones Group means consistent pay, clinical backing from experienced nurses, and support from a team that understands school-based nursing - not just staffing.
Minimum requirements
- Active RN license valid in Kentucky
- Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program
- Current BLS CPR/AED certification
- Demonstrated competency in the specific skills required for the assigned student including: feeding tube management
- Ability to work independently in a non-clinical environment
- Experience working with Pediatric population
- School based experience (preferred)

What you'll do
- Maintain continuous observation of assigned student throughout the school day
- Implement and monitor student health plans
- Accompany student during transportation and community-based activities when assigned
- Communicate significant status changes to family, school staff, and clinical leadership
- Provide first aid, daily medical care, and emergency support
- Maintain student confidentiality in accordance with FERPA and HIPAA requirements
