Role Overview

This position involves practicing professional nursing by performing independent and delegated medical functions in accordance with standards. Responsibilities include health promotion, supportive and restorative care, disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of various conditions using specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills. The nurse focuses on patient needs, develops rapport, and actively seeks to understand and address patient circumstances.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and emergency policies, maintaining patient safety during medication administration, procedures, and infection prevention. Evaluate health status through data collection and assessment, analyze reports, and identify healthcare problems to develop care plans. Prioritize patient needs, triage in person or via phone, and implement appropriate actions per protocols. Evaluate emergencies, initiate nursing interventions, and provide health education and counseling. Execute delegated medical functions, administer therapies, and coordinate care with healthcare teams. Advocate for patients and manage patient populations to optimize resource utilization.

Qualifications & Skills
