About this role
*Job Overview* Legacy Dialysis of Reston Clinic is seeking a reliable and compassionate *Patient Care Technician (PCT)* to join our dialysis team. The PCT plays a critical role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment.
*Key* *Responsibilities*
- Prepare dialysis machines and treatment stations prior to patient arrival
- Initiate and discontinue dialysis treatments under RN supervision
- Monitor patients during treatment and report any changes to the nurse
- Obtain and record vital signs pre-, during, and post-treatment

- Maintain strict infection control practices and safety protocols
- Clean and disinfect dialysis equipment and stations after each treatment
- Ensure proper documentation of treatment data and patient observations
- Assist with inventory and stocking of supplies

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (*CCHT*) preferred (or willingness to obtain within required timeframe)
- BLS certification required (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Prior healthcare or dialysis experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
