About this role

Join the Providence ExpressCare team as a full-time nurse practitioner or physician associate. As a Mission based, community focused service, the clinics provide the perfect work life balance with a 3-day week schedule. ExpressCare serves as a critical access point for the organization, supporting overflow of patients from primary care, urgent care and emergency departments. There is plenty of variety in its services which demand critical thinking and clinic-based procedures, which provides variety every day.

ExpressCare serves the purpose of providing access to communities, both in person and virtually, while also offering a more predictable day with a schedule of 30 twenty-minute appointments in a 12-hour period. The staffing model consists of a single provider and a medical assistant, with a support structure in place across the system. Included in the generous compensation package is the potential for a productivity incentive.

Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in Family Practice, Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine, as well as having the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Ideal nurse practitioner/physician assistant candidates will enjoy the opportunity to respond to the needs of the local service area as they arise.

Come be a part of this exceptional and innovative health care team in a role that offers opportunities to grow your experience, maintain a great work life balance and enjoy a competitive compensation plan.

Nurse Practitioner is advanced-practice territory. The long route; independence depends on your state.

Worth asking

We can’t answer these from the listing we have. Good ones to ask a recruiter or in the interview.

  • How does compensation work, including base pay and the productivity or RVU formula?
  • Are there differentials or other recurring incentives?
  • Does the employer cover malpractice and tail coverage, plus CME, licensing, and DEA support?
  • What should I expect for weekly hours, weekend, holiday, call, and rotation?
