Responsibilities include providing direct nursing care to residents including medication administration, wound care, and skilled nursing procedures; assisting residents with ADLs; supervising and directing nursing assistants and medication aides; monitoring residents' physical and emotional status; developing and reviewing individualized resident care plans; completing clinical documentation; coordinating admissions, transfers, and discharges; and participating in quality assurance activities.
