American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVICU position at a Level I trauma teaching hospital requiring CVVH machine experience and a WI or compact RN license.

CVICU setting within a Level I trauma teaching hospital
Night shift, 12-hour shifts (1900-0730), three shifts per week
Every other weekend required with some holiday coverage
No on-call requirements
Patient ratio of 1:2-3
Floating required as needed
Epic EMR used, experience required
Requirements
Active WI or compact RN license required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of acute care CVICU experience within the last 3 years required
Experience and knowledge of NextStage CVVH machine required
Cardiothoracic surgery and/or acuity adaptable unit experience preferred
Epic charting experience required, within the past 12 months preferred
Skilled in IV therapy, arterial line management, central and PICC line care, and blood product administration
Experience with ventilator management, ABG interpretation, and respiratory failure care
Experience with CABG, IABP, TAVR, valve repair/replacement, and post cardiac surgery patient care
Experience titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips required
Must pass a telemetry exam with strict passing criteria prior to starting the assignment
