About this role
The House Supervisor for Advanced East Houston Hospital, Houston, will direct Nursing care by delegating, coordinating, collaborating, and prioritizing hospital wide needs. The incumbent will assess patient needs, plan, implement and evaluate care based on priorities and specific patient care outcomes. Together with the Nursing Care Teams, the House Supervisor will implement standards of care/practices for nursing department.
Above all, the House Supervisor will take the initiative to improve all aspects of quality patient care while promoting the mission and vision of the hospital. 12 hour day time shifts. Rotating Weekends.
Strong Emergency Room experience. Assess the delivery of nursing care and identify problems through patient care rounds in order to assure the provision of quality care. Collaborates with team members for nursing care planning and modifications/revisions of care plan.
