Guthrie is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Employee Health team at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA—a non-bedside role designed for nurses who want a more predictable schedule without stepping away from meaningful work. In this role, you’ll support the health and safety of fellow caregivers through immunizations, screenings, and workplace health programs—all in a structured, lower-acuity environment. This role partners closely with internal departments to promote a safe and healthy work environment across the organization. Position Summary: The Employee Health RN supports the well-being of Guthrie caregivers, contract staff, and volunteers by administering health programs and ensuring compliance with workplace safety and regulatory standards. This role uses a proactive, systems-based approach to promote employee wellness and maintain a safe work environment across the organization. Occasional travel within the system may be required. Education, License, & Certification: • Current RN license in Pennsylvania and New York (or ability to obtain NY license) • BSN preferred • BLS required • Occupational health–related certifications (or willingness to obtain within one year) Experience: • 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience preferred • Experience requiring independent clinical judgment and decision-making • Strong organizational and communication skills in a multidisciplinary environment Essential Functions: • Administer immunizations and perform employee health screenings (e.g., TB, respirator fit testing, drug screening) • Manage and follow up on workplace exposures, including bloodborne pathogens • Maintain accurate employee health records in compliance with regulatory standards • Support workplace safety initiatives and partner with internal teams (HR, Infection Control, Safety) • Assist with employee wellness programs and annual compliance requirements Other Duties: • Participate in quality improvement and workplace safety initiatives • Maintain confidentiality of employee health information • Support day-to-day operations of the Employee Health office • Perform additional duties as assigned based on department needs
