School Registered Nurse | San Francisco, California

• Deliver direct nursing care to students, including assessing health status and managing acute and chronic conditions
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans in collaboration with families, school staff, and healthcare providers
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards
• Provide health education and promote wellness initiatives within the school
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies and coordinate care as needed

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license
• Experience working in a school or pediatric healthcare setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, parents, and school personnel
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and maintain confidentiality
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
