About this role
The Infusion RN is responsible for the safe administration of chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and supportive care treatments to oncology patients in an outpatient infusion setting. The Infusion RN provides direct patient care, education, symptom management, and coordination of care while maintaining compliance with evidence-based oncology nursing standards, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements including USP hazardous drug handling guidelines.
Requirements
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Completion of chemotherapy/biotherapy provider-approved training program required within 90 days of employment
Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification preferred within 3 years
Minimum of 2 years of oncology nursing or infusion experience preferred
Experience with hazardous drugs (Chemotherapy, immunotherapy, etc.)
Knowledge of USP <800>, OSHA, and infection prevention standards
Ability to lift in excess of 50 lbs
