We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – GI/Endoscopy for a 13-week assignment in Bakersfield, CA. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of GI/Endoscopy experience and hands-on experience with procedural sedation .
Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to patients before, during, and after GI/Endoscopy procedures.
Prepare patients for procedures and complete pre-procedure assessments.
Monitor patients during procedures and recovery.
Administer medications and procedural sedation as ordered.
Monitor vital signs and patient response to sedation.
Assist physicians and the procedural team during endoscopic procedures.
Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Follow infection-control and patient-safety protocols.
Required Certifications

ACLS – Required
BLS – Required
Must-Have Experience
+
2+ years of GI/Endoscopy experience – Required
Procedural sedation experience – Required for RNs
Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills.
Experience working in a procedural/endoscopy environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
