To circulate distal to the sterile field for CVOR surgical cases for cardiac service line and complex cases within the department. To ensure the creation and maintenance of the sterile field. To be alert to the needs of the surgical team for the duration of the surgical case.

Requirements

  • RN
  • Alabama Registered Nurse License
  • Graduate of a school of Nursing program approved and accredited by the Alabama State Board of Nursing
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
  • Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
  • BLS Certification from American Heart Association required or obtained within 30 days of employment
  • ACLS Certification may be required depending on unit/department
  • PALS Certification may be required depending on unit/department
  • Cardiovascular surgery assistance experience
