Overview Registered Nurse – Operating Room, Bangor, Maine. Start date 07/20/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital setting. Earn $2,401–$2,515 per week with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift: Days. Key Highlights • Weekly pay: $2,401–$2,515 per week • Guaranteed hours: 40 per week • Contract duration: 13 weeks • Shift: Days • Start date: 07/20/2026 • Setting: Hospital operating room in Bangor, ME Responsibilities • Provide perioperative nursing care for surgical patients in the operating room, following state and facility policies. • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure patient safety and efficient procedures. • Monitor patient status, vital signs, anesthesia equipment, and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures. • Assist with patient positioning, equipment checks, specimen handling, and communication during case transitions. • Document intraoperative care accurately and communicate effectively during handoffs to recovery and other teams. • Support preoperative and postoperative workflows as delegated by the Unit Director and Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse. Requirements • Active Maine RN license • BLS and ACLS required within 30 days of hire • Telemetry experience preferred • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 per state mandate • Ability to work in a hospital operating room environment and collaborate with the surgical team Benefits and Support • Guaranteed 40 hours per week • 13-week travel assignment • 24/7 recruiter and travel support • Dedicated on-site assignment support • Orientation available (up to 16 hours; unpaid) Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
