As a Perinatal Educator Non-Nurse, you will provide education and support to expectant mothers, their support persons, postpartum parents, and community members through structured classroom programs using an interactive teaching style. In this role, you will educate participants throughout the perinatal and neonatal periods, facilitate engaging learning experiences, and serve as a resource for Cleveland Clinic Birthing and Neonatal Services, as well as the community.
The ideal candidate is a compassionate, knowledgeable, and patient-centered perinatal educator with experience working directly with pregnant and/or postpartum individuals and families. This individual should have a strong understanding of the perinatal period and be comfortable providing education, support, and guidance throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum transition.
This is a regular PRN position, with caregivers working shifts varying between 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
