Are you a compassionate, highly qualified and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with a love for providing outstanding care and customer service? If so, then The Clare, the only Continuing Care Retirement Community in the Gold Coast area, wants you! We are seeking to fill a Full-Time RN role in our Skilled Nursing Care Unit.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an RN
- Provides direct nursing care to the residents and supervises and coordinates the activities performed by the CNAs in order to ensure a high degree of quality care is maintained.
- Responsible for admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents.
- Administers medications and treatments and maintains proper charting for the unit all in accordance with federal, state and local standards and regulations and department policies and procedures.
- Maintains a high standard of resident care.
- Responds immediately to all crisis and/or calls for assistance.
- Assists in maintaining the facility’s and Nursing Service’s philosophy through quality nursing care.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have
- Current nursing license valid in Illinois
- CPR certified.
- Greater than 2 years clinical experience preferred.
- One-year long term care preferred.
- Weekend availability REQUIRED .
