About this role
Avenues Recovery Center is hiring nurses for a new location in Norfolk, VA. Responsibilities include completing comprehensive medical assessments upon admission, performing nursing shift duties (screening, vitals, scheduling appointments and labs, updating charts), addressing pharmacy needs and prescription authorizations, dispensing medications and maintaining med logs, collaborating with medical, clinical and UR teams for seamless coordination of care, and ensuring impeccable medical documentation, chart review, and medication logging.
