Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Surgery

Role: Provides comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced outpatient surgery center, covering preoperative, PACU, and stepdown areas. Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; communicate effectively with patients and team members; involve patients in care planning and education; monitor patient responses; make clinical decisions; administer medications and treatments per policy; document care accurately; and ensure a safe environment. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; no prior experience required. Skills & Physical Requirements: Excellent communication, critical thinking, and observation skills; ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive movements; proficient in vision, hearing, and smell. Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license in the applicable state; BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
