Overview

Department: Wound Care Shift: Full-Time; Days; 8A-4P Facility: Saint Joseph Medical Center Location: Joliet, IL Sign On Bonus: Up to $7,500!

Responsibilities

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care, and meets the communication needs of the patient and family; Performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Education, experience, training

  • Must have current and valid license as an LPN issued by the State Illinois.
  • BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
  • Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
  • Previous Wound care knowledge and or experience preferred (1 Year), including wound assessment, treatment documentation, and product utilization.
  • Wound Care Certification – WCC designation within 1 year
