About this role
Registered Nurse position in the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) at Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital. A 43-bed unit serving the adult population with Level II Cardiac Services, treating patients with Acute Heart Failure, Acute or Uncontrolled Arrhythmias, Chest Pain, Cardiac Catheterization and Percutaneous Coronary Intervention. Variable Full-Time with three 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am). Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, serving as patient/family advocate, precepting, charge nurse duties, collaborating with interdisciplinary team, and coordinating care delegation.
Requirements
Graduate of an approved school of nursing
Current State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license
Must have passed NCLEX
Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
1 year experience
Experience working with cardiac care patients
