What You’ll Do as a Crisis Services Nurse
Primary responsibilities include
Assess individuals for admission using a medical stability approach. Assess physical health, using a brief health assessment Deliver care for minor physical health challenges. Collect vitals, medical, and substance use history Treat minor wounds Administer medication with orders from the center provider Facilitate escalation of care when clinically indicated Help develop and refine center policies and procedures. Documenting all necessary information in patient charts Other duties as assigned Minimum hiring
requirements
Current Indiana LPN or RN license Two years of nursing experience
