Registered Nurse (RN) position at a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) facility in Miami, Florida. Provides direct, hands-on care to medically complex pediatric patients in a structured extended care setting. Responsibilities include monitoring patient health status, assisting with activities of daily living, administering medications, collaborating with multidisciplinary care team, and maintaining a safe environment. Full-time schedule Monday-Friday 6:30am-6:30pm, Saturday-Sunday 6:30am-1:00pm. Tentative facility opening date September 1st.
Requirements
Active and unrestricted Florida licensure or certification as an RN
Current CPR/BLS certification required at time of hire
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays and weekends
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Genuine passion for working with children and their families
Experience in pediatrics, pediatric home health, PPEC, NICU, PICU, or pediatric acute care preferred
Experience working with medically complex or technology-dependent children preferred
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
