Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week contract in a rehabilitation setting in Albuquerque, NM. This role involves providing supportive patient care for individuals recovering from injury, surgery, or illness, helping them achieve their highest level of independence.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician
Assist patients with rehabilitation goals and daily living activities
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor and document patient progress and report changes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support recovery
Maintain accurate medical records and follow facility protocols
Requirements
Active New Mexico LPN license
BLS certification (AHA preferred)
Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience (rehab experience a plus)
Strong communication and patient-centered care skills
