About this role

Desert Valley Hospice & Palliative Care is growing and looking for a strong, organized, compassionate Director of Nursing to help lead our hospice clinical team. This is a key leadership position for someone who understands hospice, knows how to manage nurses and interdisciplinary care, and can keep the team organized, compliant, and focused on excellent patient care.

Requirements

  • Current Arizona RN license required
  • Hospice experience strongly preferred
  • Prior DON, clinical manager, case manager, or hospice leadership experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of hospice eligibility, documentation, IDG, recertification, and compliance
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Organized, dependable, and able to start quickly
