*Job Summary - NIGHT SHIFT* We are seeking dedicated and skilled Registered Nurses for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and CVU on nightshift . The ideal candidate will possess critical care experience and demonstrate a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role requires proficiency in advanced nursing practices, including the management of complex medical conditions and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
- Perform advanced procedures such as IV infusion, suturing, airway management, and dialysis.
- Utilize EMR systems such as Meditech, Epic and Cerner for accurate medical documentation and patient record management.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including triage and acute pain management.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures and manage ventilator-dependent patients.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and ongoing care needs.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the ICU.
*Qualifications*
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU/CVU experience preferred; critical care transport experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and medical terminology is essential.
- Experience with various EMR/EHR systems is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of acute care principles, trauma medicine, hospice & palliative medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, and behavioral health is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
