Alexandria sits where central Louisiana's pine hills meet the Red River, with living costs about 14% below the national average. Clock out and you're minutes from Kisatchie National Forest's longleaf trails — or grabbing boudin along MacArthur Drive. For an RN trading coastal rent for bayou-country breathing room, this is the move.
