Registered Nurse / Inpatient / PRN Days

QUALIFICATIONS Degree from accredited nursing program. Current Texas RN License. BLS certification. ACLS or successful completion within 60 days of hire date. 2 years' experience Must possess organizational skills to function in a fast paced OR environment. Experience in phase II level of care Certification in CMSRN preferred Completion of De-escalation training within 30 days of hire OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE Category I exposure to blood borne pathogens, frequent exposure to chemical hazards and radiation hazards. RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs assessment/data collection in an ongoing and systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, psychological and cognitive status. Formulates a goal directed plan of care, which is prioritized and based on determined nursing diagnosis and patient outcomes. Implements care in a knowledgeable, skilled consistent manner in reaching the desired patient outcomes through nursing processes. Establish priorities of patient care based on essential patient needs and available center resources of time, personnel, equipment and supplies.
