About this role

This position is located within the Office of the Associate Director, Patient Care Services (ADPCS), Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS), Phoenix, AZ. It is a Level 1a major interdisciplinary teaching facility with service lines serving medical, surgical, mental health, and long-term care inpatients and outpatients with an Emergency Department and multiple community-based outpatient clinics (CBOC). The Nurse V Deputy Associate Director for Patient Care Service: Clinical Programs (DADPSC: CP) will provide leadership for Primary Care, Specialty Care, Perioperative, Prosthetics, and Geriatrics and Extended Care.

The DADPCS: CP supports the organization's Pathway to Excellence journey by strengthening shared governance, advancing nursing practice standards, and reinforcing a professional, supportive work environment.

Requirements

  • RN
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • RN License (1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory)
  • MSN required; Doctorate preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • 5+ years of progressive nursing executive leadership (preferred)
