Position Summary The Evening/Night RN covers 4–5 shifts per week, bridging day-shift nursing coverage and overnight Night Clinical Support staff. Provides evening medication administration and nursing assessments for respite participants. Key Responsibilities ● Administer evening medication pass ● Conduct nursing assessments and wound checks during evening hours ● Maintain clinical documentation to program and SAMHSA standards ● Coordinate handoff with day-shift RN and overnight Night Clinical Support staff Qualifications ● Active, unrestricted Vermont RN licensure ● Comfortable working independently during evening hours with on-call clinical backup ● Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire. ● Naloxone administration training or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire. Physical Demands ● Frequent standing, walking, and lifting/transferring patients during evening hours ● Exposure to bodily fluids requiring standard precautions ● Must be alert and able to respond to clinical needs with limited on-site clinical staff Work Environment A 6-bed residential medical respite facility in Burlington, VT, working evening/night hours bridging day-shift nursing and overnight support staff.
