The Cardiac Clinic LPN plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a specialized cardiology outpatient setting. Working closely with cardiologists and advanced practice providers, this position supports the assessment, treatment, and ongoing management of patients with cardiovascular conditions through cardiac monitoring, patient education, and coordinated care. Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to)

  • Maintain HIPAA compliance, infection control, and accurate documentation
  • Provide patient care: vitals, cardiac assessments, meds, and EMR documentation
  • Assist with cardiology procedures: EKGs, stress tests, Holter monitors
  • Room patients and collect cardiac histories (chest pain, SOB, hypertension)
  • Perform cardiac triage calls and escalate concerns as needed
  • Coordinate care: referrals, follow-ups, and diagnostic testing
  • Educate patients on cardiac conditions, medications, and lifestyle changes

Qualifications

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

  • Graduate of an accredited school for Licensed Practical Nursing
  • Current LPN license
  • Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained current
  • One year of experience as an LPN is preferred
