Registered Nurse - Full-Time Day Shift

Overview

This position involves assessing residents' health, educational, and environmental needs upon admission and throughout their care. The RN develops, reviews, and communicates dynamic, individualized care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, residents, and families. Responsibilities include documenting assessments and care plans, implementing nursing interventions such as medication administration and treatments, and ensuring timely, safe delivery of care.

Key Duties

Monitor and communicate residents' condition changes using critical thinking and SBARR communication tools. Handle crises professionally, including family concerns and behavioral issues. Ensure effective care plan delivery and address problem areas via QAPI processes. Assist with resident activities of daily living and respond to call lights. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nursing practices and policies.

Qualifications

Registered nurse with an accredited education and valid state license. CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain within six months. Preferred experience in long-term care. Strong critical thinking, communication, time management, and organizational skills. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist residents, with manual dexterity and visual acuity.
