At Goodlife Assisted Living, Inc., we believe in providing compassionate and high quality care and services in a caring environment. We believe that we can each contribute our knowledge, experience, and creativity to assist our Guests in living well. Goodlife Assisted Living, Inc. is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate services/education/monitor compliance for 3 of our communities (total of 72 CBRF apartments) in the Oshkosh area. Hours 8am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday (1/2 hour lunch break daily) and 8am-Noon on Friday. There is a little flexibility in the hour start/end time. Our Registered Nurse is responsible for working closely with our Community Managers to ensure our staff provide high quality care services to our Residents, directing members of the Care Team in accordance with regulations and established policies, procedures, and best practices, conducting training in-services, tracking required education, psychotropic reviews, new hire TB testing, drug and physical screenings, state surveys and other various nursing duties. Qualified Candidates must possess: • Experience working with frail elderly and persons with dementia preferred. • Thorough knowledge of the English language with the ability to communicate effectively, including good grammar, spelling, punctuation skills and ability to proofread accurately; including adequate computer skills • Familiarity with and complies with Wis. DHS 83 and Chapter 50, Uniform Licensure . • Ability to communicate with and respect the needs of older adults with infirmities of aging and dementia. • Working with Community Managers to maintain resident's ISPs. • Maintain educational requirements for all buildings • Must possess a commitment to the belief that all people have the right to dignity, respect, opportunity and full community inclusion. • Work with Community Managers to ensure proper employee education. CBRF Trainer certification is a plus. • Must have previous management or supervisory experience and mature judgement with the ability to supervise those workers for whom they are responsible. Must be positive leadership skills and have a pleasant, positive attitude, showing respect for themselves, for Guests, and for fellow employees. • Able to withstand the physical activity of scheduled hours. • Must have a cleared and approved criminal record check and drug screen. • Must have legal status in the U. S. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
