Education Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Experience Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience.
Licenses/Certifications Active license within the state of employment. Must maintain current BLS certification.me
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a correctional setting using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Work collaboratively with charge nurses and healthcare staff to ensure quality patient outcomes. Administer medications and treatments as ordered. Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner. Support patient education and care planning within scope of practice. Maintain safety and security standards within the correctional facility environment.
