Role Summary: Provides clinical leadership in an acute inpatient setting, ensuring patient-centered care through evidence-based nursing practices. Key Responsibilities Conducts comprehensive patient assessments, develops and updates individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Delivers direct patient care within the scope of practice, delegating tasks appropriately, and monitoring care quality. Ensures safety, compliance with policies, regulatory standards, and quality improvement initiatives. Evaluates patient responses, revises care plans, and documents progress, promoting positive outcomes and continuity of care. Educates patients and families, assessing learning needs and promoting participation in care. Maintains professional licensure, adheres to standards, and takes accountability for personal development. Qualifications & Skills Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred. Minimum one year of RN experience or equivalent via residency or LPN experience for internal candidates. Current RN license recognized by NCSBN Compact or in the practice state. Strong knowledge of safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and patient care standards. Additional Details: Night shift; no management responsibilities; requires adherence to organizational policies and commitment to professional growth.
