Schedule

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical patients, including assessment, monitoring, and timely documentation.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor for adverse reactions and document outcomes.
- Monitor patient status, vitals, I&O, and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement plan of care; participate in rounds and care conferences.
- Ensure patient safety and infection control practices; assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges; maintain accurate and complete charts.
Requirements
- Current, active RN license in California (or eligibility for CA licensure)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred/optional for the first contract but must be attained by traveler if extending
- Med Surg nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (diploma/ADN/BSN)
- Ability to work day shifts (3x12-hour schedule) with weekend rotation
