About this role

We are a physician-owned ambulatory surgery center in Las Vegas seeking an experienced, organized, and dependable part time surgery center administrator to oversee the administrative and operational needs of our facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ASC administrator, clinical administrator, credentialing professional, or healthcare manager looking for a flexible part-time position. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an ambulatory surgery center and be comfortable independently managing regulatory, credentialing, staffing, and scheduling responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain physician, anesthesia provider, and staff credentialing files
  • Track licenses, certifications, expirations, and required documentation
  • Maintain facility licensing and accreditation requirements
  • Assist with regulatory compliance and survey preparedness
  • Coordinate and maintain required ASC documentation
  • Manage surgical staff scheduling based on the operating schedule
  • Coordinate staffing needs with RNs, surgical technicians, anesthesia providers, and surgeons
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and maintaining employee documentation as needed
  • Coordinate the surgery schedule and communicate staffing requirements
  • Maintain personnel files and required employee certifications
  • Assist with Governing Board and Medical Executive Committee documentation and meetings
  • Track required policies, annual reviews, competencies, and regulatory deadlines
  • Communicate directly with the Medical Director/Owner regarding operational or compliance issues
  • Serve as an administrative point person for the surgery center

Qualifications

Preferred

  • Previous experience in an ambulatory surgery center, surgical facility, or similar healthcare environment
  • Experience with ASC credentialing and regulatory compliance
  • Familiarity with facility licensing and accreditation requirements
  • Experience coordinating healthcare staffing and surgical schedules
  • Strong understanding of medical staff credentialing and documentation
  • ASC administrative or management experience strongly preferred

RN licensure is not required for this position, although candidates with a clinical background are welcome to apply.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Reliable and able to work independently
  • Experienced enough to anticipate regulatory and credentialing needs rather than requiring significant oversight
  • Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and maintaining accurate records
  • Professional when communicating with physicians, anesthesia providers, nurses, staff, and regulatory organizations
  • Interested in a stable, long-term part-time position

Schedule

Approximately 10–15 hours per week .

The schedule can offer some flexibility, although some on-site presence at the Las Vegas surgery center will be required. Some administrative responsibilities may be completed remotely.

Compensation

$45–$60 per hour, depending on ASC and administrative experience.

Candidates with significant ASC administration, accreditation, licensing, or credentialing experience may qualify toward the upper end of the range.
