About this role
Complete Care is seeking an experienced and highly adaptable Resource Nurse (RN) to support our growing Wisconsin region. This leadership-level Resource Nurse (RN) opportunity is ideal for a seasoned nurse with prior Director of Nursing experience who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about supporting clinical excellence across multiple skilled nursing facilities.
The Resource Nurse (RN) will travel throughout the Wisconsin region providing temporary clinical leadership coverage and operational support as needed. This role is essential in helping facilities maintain strong clinical operations, regulatory compliance, staffing stability, and quality resident care.

Travel to facilities throughout the Wisconsin region to provide clinical leadership support as needed

Cover key clinical roles including Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, MDS, Unit Manager, and other nursing leadership positions
Assist facilities during leadership transitions, staffing shortages, surveys, and operational challenges
Support nursing teams with regulatory compliance, clinical systems, policies, and quality initiatives
Collaborate with Administrators, Regional Clinical teams, and facility leadership to maintain strong clinical operations
Mentor and support nursing staff to ensure high standards of resident care
Monitor clinical outcomes and assist with performance improvement initiatives
Help ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Participate in survey readiness and assist during state survey processes
Provide hands-on clinical support and leadership guidance when needed
Qualifications
Active RN license required
Prior experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) in skilled nursing or long-term care required
Multi-site or regional experience preferred
Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and clinical operations
Ability to travel extensively throughout the Wisconsin region
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt quickly and effectively in changing environments
Experience supporting survey readiness and regulatory compliance strongly preferred
