Hours: This is a salaried, exempt position. Work schedule is 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. This position is shared with our adult outpatient programs (Areta Crowell Wellness Recovery Center, Douglas Young Wellness Recovery Center, Heartland Wellness Recovery Center, Jane Westin Center, Maria Sardinas Wellness Recovery Center, and South Bay Guidance Center). This an on-site position and requires in-person attendance to perform the essential functions of the job. Salary: $110,000 per year Licensure: Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license required and must be kept current and in good standing during employment Certification: BLS certification required and must be kept current during employment Benefits: 19 days of PTO per year Monthly contribution of $100 towards qualified student loan debt; access to Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program for eligible individuals Choice of medical plans, with minimal employee cost/expenses and excellent coverage Several dental plan options; vision benefits Company-paid life insurance and Long-Term Disability Tax-Free Flexible Spending for medical/dental/childcare expenses Generous retirement plan contributions Free Employee Assistance Plan Employee discount program, including pet insurance plans Opportunities for advancement and growth As a Nurse Coordinator II, you will: In coordination with the Program Director and/or Service Line Leadership, provide oversight, direction, and consultation to nursing staff at their designated program and/or service line. Participate in the hiring, orienting, and training process of Program Nurses, and assist Program Directors with annual performance appraisals upon request. Coordinate nursing coverage with Program Directors and provide coverage as needed. Provide guidance to Program Nurses in assisting clients to access community medical and psychiatric resources to achieve optimal level of health and functioning in the community. Maintain current knowledge of program nursing scope and responsibilities consistent with Federal/State/County guidelines. Ensure consistency of nursing practices across programs related to client care, medication management, training, documentation/billing forms, and interpretation and implementation of CRF Nursing Policies and Procedures. Supervise the inventory, storage, handling and ordering of medications and medical supplies. Additional Qualifications and Skills Two years of nursing experience working in behavioral healthcare One year of previous management experience strongly preferred Understanding of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and documentation required Ability to physically and mentally able to assist in emergency situations is required Some CRF programs may be housed in a two-story building that may not have an elevator; ability to navigate stairs is required. A valid California driver’s license in good standing, personal vehicle, and proof of insurance is required Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Ability to pass criminal/background clearance Bring your nursing skills and dedication to helping others to make a difference in the lives of the people we serve! Our Adult Outpatient Programs (Areta Crowell Wellness Recovery Center, Douglas Young Wellness Recovery Center, Heartland Wellness Recovery Center, Jane Westin Center, Maria Sardinas Wellness Recovery Center, and South Bay Guidance Center) provide behavioral health services including psychiatric and clinical assessment, treatment planning, ongoing medication services, individual and group counseling, case management, crisis intervention, mobile outreach, vocational support, and peer support. We deliver fully integrated services to adult clients diagnosed with a serious mental illness, as well as individuals with co-occurring, mental health, and substance use disorders. Jane Westin Centeris a full-time urgent psychiatric walk-in center that provides screening, triage, clinical and psychiatric assessment, medication support, and discharge planning.
