Position: Paramedic (EMT-P) – Memphis, TN What You’ll Do

As a Vital Paramedic, you will provide advanced emergency and non-emergency medical care across the Memphis region, including:

Responding to emergency and interfacility medical calls

Performing ALS assessments and lifesaving interventions

Administering medications per Standing Medical Orders

Reading and interpreting EKGs

Operating advanced EMS equipment

Delivering patient care throughout transport

Lifting, transferring, and moving patients safely

Completing accurate and detailed Patient Care Reports (PCRs)

Cleaning, restocking, and maintaining equipment

Safely driving and operating an ambulance

This role is ideal for Paramedics seeking stable, well-managed EMS employment in Memphis.

Requirements

Skills, Education & Required Qualifications Must be 18+ years old

High School Diploma or GED

Valid Tennessee Paramedic License

Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record

High proficiency in BLS-level patient care

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organization and problem-solving abilities

Current CPR Certification

Preferred Credentials ACLS

Phtls

ITLS

National Registry Paramedic (NREMT-P)

Conditions of Employment Post-offer physical exam

Drug screening

Note: Marijuana is illegal in Tennessee; a positive test voids the offer

Criminal background check

Possible annual TB and rubella screening

Must follow the Vital Medical Transport Compliance Program

Must maintain all required certifications and licenses
