Shift

Monday - Friday 12 NOON - 8:30PM

Catalyst Brands is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic I for our 2 million square foot industrial warehouse in Stead (Reno). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide mechanical support performing a variety of complex technical tasks with industrial mechanical systems.

• Performs moderately complex technical functions such as:

• Repairing, diagnosing, installing, dismantling, maintaining, overhauling, modifying material handling equipment.

• Recommending modifications to designs, as needed.

• Assists other technicians in the performance of mechanical maintenance activities and/or providing training/guidance.

• Fabricates mechanical system components, parts and equipment.

• Isolates malfunctions using established tools and techniques, performs preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, and returns faulty equipment to operating condition.

• Records scheduled inspection reports of the operating equipment.

Requirements

• Requires application of mechanical skillsets and knowledge.

• Requires mechanical aptitude and experience in various areas of industrial maintenance.

• Solid understanding of mechanical systems and related components.

• Knowledge of the principles, methods and techniques used in the fabrication and testing of mechanical components and troubleshooting.

• One - three years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance or combination of experience and technical/vocational training.

Pay: To be discussed at time of interview based on experience and capabilities.
