Our Behavioral Health team provides compassionate, patient-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment. As an LPN, you’ll work closely with Registered Nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to support patients receiving treatment for psychiatric and substance use disorders.

Triangle Springs offers a structured, team-oriented environment where nurses can develop their behavioral health expertise while making a meaningful impact on patients and their families.

How you’ll contribute

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who excels in this role

Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse

Assists with patient assessments and contributes to individualized care planning

Administers medications and treatments within the scope of LPN practice

Monitors patient conditions and reports changes to the appropriate clinical team

Supports interventions focused on patient safety, stabilization, and recovery

Provides care appropriate to the age, condition, and behavioral health needs of each patient

Maintains accurate and timely documentation in the medical record

Participates in interdisciplinary care and communicates effectively with patients, families, and team members

Demonstrates strong clinical judgment, professionalism, compassion, and patient advocacy

Helps maintain a safe, therapeutic, and respectful environment for patients and staff

What we’re looking for

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is interested in providing care in a behavioral health setting.

Additional requirements include

Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nursing program

Current, valid LPN/LVN license in the state of North Carolina

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire

Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required within 30 days of hire

Previous nursing experience preferred

Behavioral health or psychiatric experience preferred

Strong communication, critical thinking, and de-escalation skills

Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective in high-pressure situations

Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care

Schedule

Full-Time — Days 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Rotating weekends
