12-month comprehensive transition-to-practice nurse residency program at Piedmont Newton Hospital, beginning February/March 2027. The program facilitates progress from student to professional nurse through education, mentorship, and peer support. Combines precepted orientation with blended learning experiences. Opportunities available in Acute Care, Critical Care, Emergency Dept, Women's Services, Cardiovascular/Progressive Care, Surgical Services, Transplant, and more. The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
