  • Follow the California Department of Public Health approved curriculum
  • Assess students' academic progress, interpersonal skills, technical skills, and knowledge of theory
  • Facilitate hands-on instruction using teaching simulation methods to enhance practical skills in activities of daily living
  • Supervise students during clinical rotations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and educational compliance regulations
  • Assess student performance through documentation review, skill demonstrations, and written examinations; provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress, compliance documentation, and instructional activities in accordance with institutional policies
  • Requirements
  • Active LVN or RN license in California
  • Two (2) years of nursing experience (LVN or RN)
  • One (1) of the two years must be as a licensed nurse providing care and services to chronically ill or elderly patients in an acute care hospital, skilled nursing facility, intermediate care facility, home care, hospice care, or other long-term care setting
  • Obtain approval from California Department of Public Health
  • Excellent communication skills for working effectively with students, hospital staff, and academic colleagues
  • Relevant certifications such as nursing license (LVN, RN), clinical instructor certification preferred (can obtain after hire-on)
  • Previous experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is a plus

Pay: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour Work Location: In person
