Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU, including ongoing assessment, monitoring, and timely interventions
- Manage complex conditions requiring CRRT (Prismaflex) and related critical care therapies; assist with vent management and hemodynamic support as directed
- Administer medications, monitor responses, and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team including physicians, respiratory therapy, and rehabilitation services
- Document comprehensive patient care in the EPIC EMR; ensure accuracy, privacy, and compliance with hospital policies
- Respond to clinical changes, alarms, and emergencies; implement sepsis protocols, stroke care pathways, and neuro-monitoring as applicable
- Float to related units as needed per assignment while maintaining high standards of patient safety and infection control
Requirements
- Current New York RN license with NURSYS verification; active license must be maintained
- 2+ years of ICU/SICU/CTICU/Trauma ICU/Med-Surg ICU/Neuro ICU experience
- Travel nursing experience required
Certifications
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS current
- EMR

- Ability to float to other ICU-related units as needed
- RTO (return-to-ownership/return-to-office) requests must be included at the time of submission
