About this role
Harbor House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Every Other Weekend Nursing Supervisor. The facility is located in Hingham and is accessible by public transportation. Responsibilities include welcoming new admissions and overseeing discharges, supervising nurses and CNAs, managing staffing changes, supporting family inquiries and screening visitors, coordinating patient/resident referrals with central admissions, ensuring high-quality resident/patient care, and providing support to ancillary staff as needed. Requirements
- Massachusetts RN License
- Massachusetts LPN License
- Valid unencumbered LPN or RN Massachusetts State License
- Current CPR certification
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or other related healthcare setting
- Minimum of one year experience in long term care
- Experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, and computer skills
- Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred
